Paul teaches two primary aspects of Christ’s supremacy: 1. Christ is Supreme in Creation (vv.15–17), and 2. Christ is Supreme in Redemption (vv.18–20)
This section breaks down into three parts: 1. Thankful for Gospel Growth (3–8), 2. Prayer for Gospel Growth (9–12a), and finally 3. Prepared for Gospel Growth (12b–14).
How gospel growth motivates thanksgiving and prayer.
God supplies grace and peace. We should not look elsewhere for what can only be found in Him.
